There are a lot of doctors and psychologists that try to treat gambling addiction and they want to understand the intentions of the gambler. What are the desires of a gambler?
And according to psychological investigations there are two reasons for gambling. One reason is to earn money without any efforts and the second one is the process of gambling itself.
The experts of ethnography say that the main factor that influences the spread of gambling is religion. It influences the attitude of a person to gambling, because every religion gives its opinion on gambling.
Everyone is a gambler. But some of us are able to fight with the urge to gamble or at least may control it and the others are not.
Gambling business brings good profits. People hope to win money easily and they go to the casino. But of course in the end they gamble all money they have. The Governments of dome countries try to fight this problem by making policy and turning the gambling business into illegal. After all if drugs harm people they are illegal, gambling also harms people that is why it should be illegal too.
But the problem is not in the places where a person may gamble but in the attitude of a person to it and in the desire to play that can't be controlled by a person.
Psyche of a gambler is a mystery for doctors. Till nowadays people can't say exactly what makes people gamble. And it will be the mystery at least for the next several years.
